With all the services that offer data in a cloud that can be accessed over the internet from any device, it's even easier to work with a cloud without storing everything on your phone. I think the only scenario where you need 1TB of memory on your phone is if you want to live for a month at the cottage without paying for mobile data while watching films and series locally on the phone all day long.
