Can I use it to control a simple electric radiator. You can only plug it in and unplug it. Or is there something smart at all?

...and yes, you can control everything via the app, it connects via wifi.

Theoretically, yes. In my case, one controls an electric valve, the other a circulation pump. It simply interrupts the current when the temperature is reached and turns it on again when the temperature drops below the set value.
