For greater distances, it uses the SmartThings Find network, which enables localisation beyond the Bluetooth range. It also offers functions such as an acoustic signal for locating and notifications if the tracker is too far away. Note that a compatible smartphone is required for precise tracking with Ultra-Wideband (UWB).
