Can the TV be connected to the Swisscom box without any problems, i.e. can it be controlled via the Swisscom remote control? I am not convinced by the LG remote control. Thank you

Helpful answer
The TV can be easily connected to the Swisscom Box as it has HDMI connections and is compatible with common smart TV systems. Control via the Swisscom remote control is generally possible, as LG televisions from 2018 and later are usually compatible with the Swisscom Box. However, there are reports in the Swisscom Community that some LG models have difficulties with full control using the Swisscom remote control, such as missing button functions or recognition problems.

The LG TV has webOS 25 with AI Magic Remote, which is included in the scope of delivery, enabling convenient operation. If the LG remote control is not convincing, the Swisscom remote control can be used, but it should be noted that compatibility is not always 100% smooth and there may be limitations depending on the model and firmware.

To summarise: Connection and control via the Swisscom Box are possible, but there may be minor limitations with the remote control. A test on site or consultation with Swisscom can help with any uncertainties.
