Can you tell me if this device is capable of duplicating (cloning) hard drives regardless of their formatting. Specifically, is this device capable of duplicating Mac, PC, Linux HDs?

Yes, it is able to duplicate "bit by bit", so it doesn't matter what format. But the destination format will be the same as the starting format, of course.
