Apparently there is a special mounting kit for LGA-1700.

Seems to be a special mounting kit which is not included !??

I had this problem with an Arctic cooler which was generally usable but they don't have a mainboard check and then the screw pressed against the connection of the cooler connector and was definitely not installable!
I ended up with this one. Mainboard check: yes - and it worked! I now have the Arctic cooler lying around here....
