If your radio keeps the time (mine does NOT after switching off), you can have the radio (FM or DAB, last station listened to) or a buzzer as alarm signal. Go to Menu, use the tuning buttons to go to ALARM, press Enter and adjust various options with the tuning buttons.

I checked the manual, and although there is an alarm, it gives a signal but no option to use the radio itself.
