Do I understand correctly that the monitor does not have an Aux connection like the AW3225QF? If so, how do you connect a sound system here? Also that the console retains all functions? 4k 120Hz HDR etc.?

Hello, 
Unfortunately, there's no Aux audio out on the monitor. If you are using a console, you can connect a sound system via USB to the console itself. Note that there are built in speakers in the monitor too.
The monitor has HDMI 2.1 so you can have 4k@120Hz and HDR.
