Can anyone tell me if these (or other cameras) from Ubiquiti work together with the Synology Camera Station? I have read different things on the web (also regarding the topicality of the compatibility list from Synology...). Merci!

Hello,
It also works directly via the RTSP stream.
To do this, the mode on the camera must be set to Standalone.
Synology: Brand "Custom" and Streaming RTSP, Path = Username:Password@IP-Address:554/s0

Hello all
I already have a G4 Dome in use on a Synology NAS that works fine. Now I have ordered another one. However, the new G4 Dome with firmware v4.53 can no longer be switched to standalone. Is there a solution?

Hi, you can connect the camera to the Synology Surviliance. However, you must first set up the camera with an Ubiquiti controller and then enter the link from the stream into Synology. A computer with the Ubiquiti Controller software on it should work as a Unifi controller for the installation. I have set this up at a neighbour's house.
