Hello everyone I recently bought these Sony, have now worn them twice while jogging and after a while I keep having problems with the right in-ear, the sound is always well gone, this lasts for a while and gets worse and worse. As if it couldn't stand the vibration. According to Sony, these headphones are also great for jogging, which is why I bought them. What can I do?

Hello, my answer is probably not as helpful as the one from Sony but I do run with these headphones almost daily and never had the issue you’re having, so I can confirm that they are suited for jogging and should be able to withstand the vibration when you run.

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing interference with your right in-ear when jogging. Although the Sony WF-1000XM5 are suitable for sports activities such as running, you should be careful not to expose them to excessive shocks as they are a precision device. Strong vibrations or shocks can impair its function.

We recommend that you try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. try setting the Sound Quality Mode setting to "Priority on stable connection". This can stabilise the connection.
2. make sure the headphones are properly seated. Sometimes a slight twist can improve the audio quality.
3. make sure your headphones are up to date with the latest software. Updates can resolve connection issues.
4. if several devices are connected via Bluetooth (e.g. smartwatch), disconnect unnecessary ones. Multi-point connections (two devices at the same time) can often cause dropouts.
5. deactivate Speak-to-Chat and Adaptive Noise Control, as these can interrupt playback.
6. reset the headphones and pair them with your device again. Sometimes this helps to solve connection problems.

If the problem persists, it may be helpful to contact our support directly.
