Question about Philips Hue Philips Globe G93 Filament
Hello , I have no idea about such things. Can I use the bulb in normal older lamps with the Hue Bridge or do I have to buy new Philips lamps? Thanks

You can control the lamp only with a Philips switch without Hue Bridge (switch on/off/dim) or additionally connect it with a Hue Bridge. The Hue Bridge offers completely new possibilities, such as automatic switching on and off at a certain time, control via mobile phone/tablet/computer, control with additional motion sensor, etc.
As long as the lamp socket/thread is the same (in this case E27) and the bulb fits the lampshade in terms of size (the Hue globes have a larger diameter than normal bulbs), this is not a problem.
