Hello, is the Power Delivery of this monitor 18W or 65W? This is obviously a very important point. Digitec says 65W, the manufacturer's website says 18W. If the aim is to connect a laptop PC or Mac (which will be the case for many customers), this point is obviously essential.
Response from CoPilot:
Can you verify the correct Power Delivery specs from Gigabyte?
✅ Confirmed: The Gigabyte Aorus FO32U2P supports 65W Power Delivery via USB-C.
According to the official Gigabyte specifications page and corroborated by detailed reviews like TechPowerUp and WePC, the monitor’s USB Type-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode and Power Delivery up to 65W.
🔌 Why This Matters
65W PD is sufficient to power and charge most laptops, including MacBooks and ultrabooks.
This makes the FO32U2P suitable for single-cable setups where you want to connect your laptop for both display and charging.
Please note: There is also the little brother FO32U2 (without "P" in the model designation). The little brother only has 18W. So important: if you want 65W; then buy FO32U2P (with "P" in the model name)! And yes, it works wonderfully ;-)
Please note: This 65W monitor has an external power supply.
65W.
