I am looking for a graphics card to go with my new display (Samsung U28H750 (28", 3840x2160) ) on my Tharsis T90.17 Intel i7-2600, 8GB, WIn10. The "current" graphics card (NIVIDIA GeForce GTX 460) has a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080. I am absolutely no gamer, but I need 3 screens, one of which is now UHD and there may be 2 of them in future instead of 2x 24" for the 28''. Does such a card swallow the monitors for image editing etc. or would 6GB soon be necessary? Many thanks for your information!

Yes, no problem. No, you don't need 6GB for image editing (not even 4GB).
