I have 2 CanoScan LIDE400 scanners and the drivers are missing and they no longer work with WIN 10. Canon reports that no more drivers are available. But there are still many such scanners on sale. Do the new ones have a different firmware? Can I use the firmware from my 2 old UP data? Will the new scanners work with WIN10 64Bt?
Hoi rtvstr, on Canon the drivers are available: https://www.canon.de/support...
I use Win10 64 and it works.
You need additional user software, which is also included.
Best regards, Michael
The scanner also works for me on Windows 10 x64 without any problems. As described by michael19701.
It is important that the drivers are installed first with the EXE file. Do not search for them in the device manager and have them installed. Really run the Canon installation.
Then the application software should be installed.
Thank you, that's exactly what I have installed x times. Partly even with success message, but the error message (Code:2,156,33) comes up. This on 4 WIN10 64Bt PCs. I threw away one scanner because it didn't work. I bought the same one from RICARDO.... doesn't work either. If I buy a new one from Digitec, I'm afraid it won't work either.
