I have assembled my own PC with this motherboard. I have installed the following RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX (4x, 16GB, DDR4-3200, DIMM 288) When booting with Windows (via USB stick) the computer always freezes. Is it possible that this is due to the motherboard not being compatible with the RAM installed? Under the specifications, the motherboard says: Memory chip: DDR4-2666 , DDR4-2400 , DDR4-3000 I found contradictory information on the Internet. On some lists it says the components are compatible, on others they are not listed. :-/ Merci for your help! :-)

The problem was solved with a BIOs update. My processor was not supported with the old one.
Merci to all who replied! :-*

Now I'm just wondering which RAM to keep, the 3200 or the 3000 (which I bought as a replacement because I thought that was where the fault was)....

I can tell you in a week, I have the same board and just ordered the same RAM. But I can't imagine that this could be a problem, the 3200 are the max clock of the memory, if the board can only do less, they will surely be regulated down. Have you tried using only one bar? Maybe one of them is simply defective.

Well, I'm curious - otherwise I'll have to downgrade to 3000s too. By the way, the 3200s from Corsair are not included in the Qualified Vendor List from Asus, but the 3000s and the 3466s are...
