Hello, you can change the admin account via web service, i.e. enter the local IP of the printer in the browser. The Admin Account can be found under Management Settings. I did not find a software update register, so I assume that if an update is necessary, it must either be done via a special update tool or it may even be carried out automatically in the background. On the start page of the management website it says something about last update - but I don't know what this means. I can only recommend this device - for this relatively low price it can do everything you need and actually much more - had a Ricoh before - it was just annoying. I would buy it again in a heartbeat and recommend it to my friends!
