I wanted to ask you, if this model of hard drive is new and comes in a box, has a 256 MB/s buffer, the write speed is 227 MB/s and if this hard drive is noisy? Because it will be mounted in a free bay of my PC. And there is difference with WD Gold or other HDD of high speed, reliability, low fallibility and performance for gamers.

Hi! The disk is delivered naked (without enclosure) and it is not noisy (I have 5 in a NAS and you can't really hear them). It's really a drive made for NAS, because it allows a lot of rewriting and is very stable. It's a very good drive for NAS, because it allows a lot of rewriting and it's very stable, but for a gamer drive I'd rather take an SSD which will be much faster!
