I wanted to clone 2 hard drives with ATA/IDE connection. I have only now seen that this device is only intended for SATA. Is there a solution to still clone disks with ATA/IDE connection?

I would do it manually. I can't say whether there is a device. Since IDE is hardly produced any more, I think the device would certainly cost more than 200. If it's a large amount of HDs, I would recommend you to look for a creative sysadmin to make you a script so that you only have to connect it.
