I was just wondering, is the cheaper system ideal for PC gaming setups because it's in the "PC speakers" category and the more expensive one is for the living room for example?

This system has a lot of bass and volume. I consider it a good solution for games.
The speakers all need to be wired, so they are meant for permanent installation.
The Z906 comes/has come in all price ranges over the course of time. I bought mine much cheaper.
