If the watch (WLAN) is supplied by a German retailer, is it even possible to use the watch for Samsung Pay? If not, the watch is useless. Thanks for your feedback.

This has nothing to do with the origin of the merchant, but with the compatibility between your credit card and Samsung Pay. Not every bank supports Samsung Pay.
I bought the watch and Samsung Pay works without any problems.
Check with the issuer of your credit card to see if it is compatible with Samsung Pay, if so, it shouldn't be a problem.
