Is Chromecast actually available free of charge? Is that what Google offers?

This offer is only valid in certain countries in Europe, and only in the Google Store. Compared to the other European countries, the new Nexus/Nexii are relatively cheap in Switzerland, which is probably why Google decided against the Chromecast deal in Switzerland.
