Is there now an update to the function with a Macbook Air M1 HDMI etc? Does this work or are there still problems?

I ordered it yesterday, received it today. Now I can answer my own question, it works without any problems. No faults, USB 3.0 data also OK.

Only - point is that it gets warm - hot.

I have a Macbook Air M1 2020
