I've had the HDD for several months, never had any problems. Now when I plug it into the Mac, it is simply not displayed anywhere. But I can hear that the device is making sounds as if it is running. What is the problem?

Unfortunately, that happened to me too. But I don't know what to do either. From one day to the next it was no longer displayed on my Mac. If anyone knows what the problem is, please let me know.
