Can the access point be administered via the app and the Aruba Online Portal? I read in the community that it is also possible to set up an external guest portal?

Yes, both functions (app and online portal) are available.

It is not exactly a guest portal in the sense of "a guest account for administration".
It's an authentication page that you can set when someone wants to connect to the Wi-Fi.

Description found here like this: https://itigic.com/de...
"Create a Wi-Fi network (SSID) for guests.
If we want to add a guest Wi-Fi network, we have additional authentication options available. In this scenario, we can easily configure the Wi-Fi network name (SSID). However, in this scenario, a total of three different authentication types are available:

Openness : Openness network, without protection any user can access this wireless network and there is no data encryption.
Portal : We can configure a guest portal, the network is open but they have to authenticate in a captive portal which we can customise.
Password : Here we can choose to authenticate using WPA2-PSK or WPA2 + WPA3 PSK, just like we did with the staff Wi-Fi network. However, this time we do not have the option to configure a RADIUS server.
