I bought one in May 2014 and it has been through a lot and seen half the world. Now I left it in the rental car during the last holidays :-( So I can only confirm a long service life. But maybe I was lucky or the 2014 models were better made. I'll definitely order a new one and I'm looking forward to it...

the things last about 6 mt. after that i run to digitec and have them replaced.
