The case contains a controller for the fans etc.. What connection does this controller have and would it fit the MSI b450m pro vdh max and would all fans be addressable?

What exactly do you want to connect to the mainboard? The fan control incl. lighting can be controlled very well with the NZXT software. The SmartDevice is connected via USB and gets the temperatures etc. that way.
And the NZXT software is far superior to that of MSI, I just configured the RGB fans for a friend via the MSI software...
