The whole connection story is not clear to me. I see a USB-C to onboard USB port cable. Does this also work directly from USB-C out to USB-in (device to display), for example as a second monitor? Does it need proprietary software or does it work without drivers/software? Thank you

Hello ! I have the product, it plugs in usb on the MB or classic USB on the MB's external drives, and can be used as a 2nd screen or screen control! Depending on the choice made on L-connect :)
