Use this monitor with a MBP 16" 2019 on a CalDigit Thunderbolt Dock. When the screen goes to sleep I can't wake the screen up. My MBP is awake which I can see from the keyboard light (the screen is deactivated as it is normally closed). When I switch the monitor off and on, I get a picture again. Does anyone know a solution?

Had the same problem with my Microsoft Dock. I think that the integrated dock in the monitor is not compatible with every other dock. I solved the problem by connecting all devices directly to the monitor and connecting the laptop via USB-C. But it only works with a USB-C connection.

The dock seems to be put to sleep by Windows and doesn't wake up anymore (maybe this has something to do with Thunderbolt security). In any case, I can prevent this by deactivating the "sleep mode" for the Ethernet port and USB hub in the device manager.

I think the fault is with the dock, we have an MBP16" connected directly to ours and it doesn't have the problem...

Have you tried plugging the monitor directly into the MBP in addition to the Thunderbolt dock?
That's what I do (with a 3 metre USB 3.2 Gen 2 cable) and so far everything works with the sleep/wakeup.
