TUF = The Ultimate Forve
STRIX is from the latin and stands for genus

The ROG has the higher quality components, so if you're editing 4-8k videos and want to enjoy it for a long time (4-5 years), get the ROG. As an editor, I always buy the ROG if possible and so far I have never had a card die or overheat during export.
