What technology is used for the backlight? Here the specification says "Basic LED", but elsewhere I find "Edge-LED" for the backlight of this model. Samsung itself says "Dual LED", where it is not clear what that means (probably mainly marketing). At this price, I would rather expect "Basic LED", because with "Edge LED" it is not possible to backlight certain parts of the picture more or less.

Samsung TV QE43Q60T
This device has an Edge LED backlight. With this technology, the LEDs are arranged at the edge of the screen panel and from here the light is distributed over the entire screen surface by means of small mirrors.
With direct LED technology, the LEDs are evenly distributed behind the entire screen panel.
In Q-LED TVs, the backlight LEDs are used with two colour temperatures (dual LEDs), regardless of whether they are edge LED or direct LED versions.
In principle, a Q-LED screen is an LCD display with Q-LED backlighting, regardless of whether it is arranged Direct or Edge. The Q-LED screen technology is an LED technology enhanced with Quantum Dots Color technology.
The term Basic LED is a very vague term for me and I cannot explain what it is supposed to mean for TV backlighting.
Basic LED strips are also used for bathroom lighting or edge lighting, for example.
