Question about WD Red
Why does it specifically say "for NAS systems with up to 8 slots"? Can't the hard drives also be used for a Synology DS2413+? This has 12 slots.
Due to the lack of vibration sensors on the plates, problems or even a reduced service life are quite possible if more than 8 plates are used...
