Will it be available again? According to price trends, it has not been available since 18 July 2022. It is also not available at Microsoft itself. One wonders what the reason was... D;

You can connect your Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 via a USB cable, wirelessly via the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows or via Bluetooth.

As it stands, you can connect the new Xbox controllers to your PC with Bluetooth or USB-C. The proprietary adapter thus seems to be history. If the PC does not have Bluetooth, you would have to install or connect a Bluetooth adapter.
