Does defrosting and reheating only work in the designated Avent storage container, or can you just put the porridge in the steamer like that?

Well, there are these things from Avent that are specially made for this steamer:

But if I freeze the porridge in an ice cube tray, for example, can I put them loosely into the steamer to defrost/reheat them?

@joyliih --> how do you mean simply IN THE STEAMING CUP? :-) the appliance has 4 different functions and can defrost or reheat IN THE CUP with the desired function.
