A long time ago, the gods granted some animals great powers, but not all animals used their magical abilities for good. When Senzou misbehaves, the sun goddess Amaterasu punishes him by assigning him to take care of the tanuki Manpachi. Naturally, the fox spirit is not thrilled about his new job as a babysitter. However, he quickly falls under the charm of the cheerful little guy, and together they face the challenges posed by the wolves, the servants of the goddess – for there are many adventures to be had in Bakemono, the world of Japanese mythical creatures. The series is considered to be ongoing.
