Daniela Kulot, born in 1966 in Schongau, Upper Bavaria, has been painting and drawing everything that came to her hands since early childhood. The many picture books her Aunt E. brought her at that time sparked the desire: "I want to do that too." At the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg, where she later studied, it was said: Everyone wants to make picture books here, forget it! She now lives and works in Augsburg, creating picture books that are unmistakable due to their cheerful and quirky humor, enjoying great popularity among children and adults both domestically and internationally.
