Treasures cabinet series. True treasures can be stored in this gem of a sideboard: Jonas Søndergaard has designed a typical cabinet in Mid-Century style for the Danish brand Umage, but with completely atypical features. In addition to the obviously closed storage space behind the doors, there are also the opening side panels. And they are impressive: While the body of the half-height chest of drawers is always made of veneered oak—sometimes in a natural light finish, sometimes in a dark stain—the two side panels invite playful exploration. Jonas Søndergaard opts for stylish gray fabrics, cognac-colored faux leather, simple oak, or the excitingly airy appearance of Viennese wicker, making the choice quite difficult. When you open one of the side panels, a small bar setup is hidden inside the door, complete with an elegant railing to hold the bottles.
