This lamp is suitable for snakes, all amphibians (frogs, toads, and salamanders), as well as nocturnal animals. Plants also thrive well under this light. This light is a perfect complement to a UVB lamp to enhance visible light. It is recommended to use it in combination with Repti Glo 5.0 or 10.0, depending on the needs of the reptiles.
