The waterfall consists of several parts to facilitate cleaning. For safety reasons, the walls of the collection tank are rough, allowing reptiles and amphibians to easily climb out and thus avoiding any risk of drowning. As an additional safety measure, small stones or gravel can be added to the collection tank for smaller chameleons and frogs. Organic waste should be removed from the collection tank at regular intervals to keep the water clean. Tap water should be treated with Aquatize to remove chlorine and heavy metals. If the water is used as drinking water, additional calcium can be added through the use of calcium. Adding Biotize will help keep the water clean for a longer time, promote necessary beneficial bacteria, and reduce odors from decaying waste.
