A piezoelectric sensor continuously calculates the number and size of dust particles vacuumed up - and automatically increases the suction power if necessary. The trigger no longer needs to be held down. This makes it easy to change hands when manoeuvring around obstacles.

Weighing only 1.4 kg in the hand, it is one of the lighter, top-heavy vacuums. What it gains in handling, it loses somewhat in suction power and features compared to other Dyson vacuum cleaners. Yet it is just as loud and only slightly cheaper than its "big" siblings.
