The renewed Cerasafe® Triply frying pan is 100% PFAS-free and plastic-free, ensuring healthy cooking. HEIROL Cerasafe® Triply products feature a ceramic coating that is completely free of harmful PFAS chemicals from the manufacturing processes onwards. The product is durable for long use, making it a favorite among professionals.

It has a high-quality three-layer structure with excellent heat conductivity. The body and handle are made of stainless steel, and the riveted handles withstand oven use (max 200°C). The product is suitable for all types of cooktops, including induction.

The Cerasafe® Triply series is an eco-friendly frying pan series; due to its excellent heat conductivity, it consumes very little energy, and thanks to the durable coating, the product lasts a long time. The coating does not contain PFAS chemicals.

An alternative to PTFE-based PFAS-containing coatings is the PFAS-free sol-gel coating, whose main components include inorganic and organic salts of silicon dioxide, sodium silicate, and methyl trimethoxysilane, as well as water.

Sol-gel technology can be used to produce environmentally friendly coatings on various materials at low temperatures, saving energy.

In January 2022, HEIROL became the first Finnish operator to sign the environmental organization ChemSec's NO TO PFAS movement initiative. The movement aims to phase out and ban several harmful fluorinated (PFAS) compounds, referred to as "forever chemicals" because they do not break down in nature.
