Note on manufacturing:

The handle is made using the classic sand casting process. Liquid iron is poured into a sand mold, which explains the rough surface. However, the pan body is produced using a different method, resulting in a different appearance from the well-known sand casting process. In this method, liquid iron is also poured into a mold and then closed with a top die. After a short curing time of the liquid iron, the formed pan body can be removed. The pan body is then finely ground, and the handle is riveted on.

Please note that this cast iron pan needs to be well seasoned before its first use. This creates a patina that protects your pan. A black discoloration of the pan is normal due to the material.
