The device can operate without Wi-Fi for basic functions such as switching on, vacuuming and returning to base, but Wi-Fi connection is required to use the Dreamehome app and access advanced functions such as programming, mapping, remote control and updates. Without Wi-Fi, you won't be able to configure or control the robot via the app, but it can be switched on and used manually.
