Hello, of course Tineco recommends the original, but I use the Bissell detergent and not Tineco. You just have to make sure that it is a detergent that can be used in machines. Machine cleaners don't foam as much as normal cleaners, that's the trick.

I use the original cleaning agent from Tineco, which hardly foams at all. But as I mentioned earlier, as long as it is a detergent that is suitable for the machine, it should be fine.
