I have a large, long-haired dog that leaves a LOT of hair everywhere... is it realistic to use such a device in this case? even with daily use?

We have a medium-sized dog that also sheds a lot of hair. We use the Floor One S5 daily to keep the tiled floor clean. We have to clean the filter after each use, otherwise it gets clogged.

I can't say much about it. We don't have any pets. We use this appliance almost every day and we are very happy with it.
