I just received my mixer and from the very first time that I tried to use it, when I turn it on, it starts with a very very high speed (even when I set it to minimum) and mixes for a few seconds at that speed and then slows down to a very low speed by itself and then by turning the knob, the speed doesn't change. Is my unit defective or am I doing something wrong?
