The Dreame X40 Ultra Complete has advanced carpet detection, which enables it to automatically increase the suction power when it moves onto a carpet. For low pile carpets, the robot lifts its mops to keep them dry. For carpets with a higher pile, the robot can dismantle the mops in the station to protect them from getting wet. This improves the handling of carpets compared to previous models, which may have struggled to drive on carpets and get stuck.
