The advanced PM5 monitor measures pace, watts, cadence, and calories burned, allowing you to track your fitness progress accurately. The easy-to-use monitor starts automatically and includes several different workout programs in addition to the Just Row feature. The PM5 supports Bluetooth and ANT+ wireless connections, making it possible to connect a heart rate belt or fitness app. For storage, the Model D rowing machine can be separated into two parts, and the wheels on the bottom of the device make it easy to move around.

Air vs. Water

The water rowing machine feels more like rowing in actual water. Water rowing machines are generally quieter because water has a higher viscosity and resistance. Air-resistance machines have an internal fan that keeps you cool. Water machines need to have the water changed periodically or use cleaning agents. If you're looking for a gym-like or CrossFit approach, air resistance is generally the preferred option.
