Our new mechanism ensures easy engagement while keeping the shoe plate securely in place, and the disengagement remains very positive. The double-click mechanism allows the front part to move during engagement, reducing the required force and enabling a flatter angle at the contact point between the shoe and the pedal. The angle for the shoe plate entry is larger, and the front of the shoe sole stays closer to the pedal body for increased stability. Disengagement feels positive and consistent thanks to the support of sturdy pins. The Hope mechanism uses a unique shoe plate that cannot be combined with other systems.

All pedals come with two shoe plate options. The plate marked 4 has 4 degrees of free movement and a 12-degree angle for disengagement, while plate 5 has 5 degrees of free movement and a 13-degree disengagement angle. Both shoe plates also move laterally by 2 mm.

The pedal bodies are CNC machined from aluminum. All bodies are designed for maximum contact with the shoe or shoe plate to ensure improved stability and power transfer. The pedals feel very stable underfoot due to the additional contact with the pedal body.

The components of the click mechanism are made from stainless steel to prevent corrosion and maintain their appearance over time. The shoe plates are also made from stainless steel to ensure durability and preserve their look.
