Thanks to the steeply rising poles and the two apses, the Real Dome Lite II is very spacious and accommodates two people. It can be set up quickly and easily. The DAC aluminum frame is designed to make the tent extremely wind-resistant. Optimal ventilation is provided by two openings in the roof area, the two doors, and four large, coverable mesh areas in the inner tent. The silicone coating makes the tent waterproof. The outer tent material is coated with silicone on both sides, significantly reducing weight while increasing tear resistance and UV protection. Since conventional seam tape sealing does not adhere to silicone-coated materials, a special swelling yarn is used that expands when wet and seals the seams. Nevertheless, it is advisable to treat relevant seam areas additionally with a silicone seam sealant.
