Jagwire brake cable outer casings are the first choice for many major bicycle manufacturers worldwide. They rely on the proven Jagwire combination of premium quality, reliable durability, and outstanding performance. The outer casings made from lead-free PVC meet all international standards regarding material properties and chemical composition. The CGX-SL is an outer casing made of hardened steel with a Slick-Lube liner. Slick-Lube is a lubricant that is integrated into the liner along the entire length of the outer casing, significantly reducing the friction of the inner cable. The result is an outer casing with extremely low compression.
